My Eternal Best Friend, I Love You!

This goes out to the girl that has stood beside me, loved me for who I am, encouraged my growth, and has always had my back.

Ya’ll, I have the bestest friend in the entire effing universe! This girl and I have been friends for 20 years, so far. And we’re still just as strong as we were in grade school.

Our dynamic is definitely unique to us. She has absolutely NO FILTER and I LOVE IT!! Me on the other hand, I’m quiet-ish, reserved and soft spoken, mostly. We understand that our friendship is as strong as we make it and there are not enough days for me to tell everyone how much she means to me.

I know that first bit there is a bit chaotic but that happens with me from time to time. Just ask my best friend. This girl knows more about me than pretty much anyone alive. Except maybe my mom. Mom is mom though and Kayla is Kayla! They are two of the three pieces that make me who I am.

Kat and I have been friends for 20 years. 20 years of life, joy, kids, and many many trials. I have watched as this girl has blown through life with a brilliance and flair that make me beyond proud to call her my sister. She sets her sights on something and she does the damn thing!
